Glen Karlsson is a Swedish-Australian educator, who spent his school years in both Australia and Japan.

With separate elementary and high school teaching qualifications, Glen has studied, volunteered, and worked in Sweden, Australia, Japan, China, Guatemala, Romania, Denmark, and the UAE with a background in American, Australian, Japanese, British, and IB educational settings. Glen’s most recent school experience was 5 years as the Director of Learning at the American School of Dubai, and he has also held senior leadership positions at Copenhagen International School in Denmark and Shanghai American School in China. 

Currently based in Malmö, Sweden, he works as a consultant: supporting schools with professional learning needs: unpacking standards to plan for learning and assessing, conducting curriculum reviews, measuring skills and dispositions and student profiles, mentoring and coaching new directors of teaching and learning and supporting the delivery of schoolwide strategic plans.
