Ika is a product of international schools and returned to her alma mater, the International School of Kuala Lumpur, to take the inaugural position of Director of Talent and Culture; a role conceptualized to support the growth and development of the operational staff at the school. In her role there has been a strong focus on DEI work with operational staff as well as key advancements in human resources and growth and evaluation under her leadership. Prior to ISKL, Ika served as legal counsel for a pureplay infrastructure company in Malaysia, and worked in financial and securities regulation. She is currently working toward her advanced degree in educational leadership at Teachers College, Columbia University
