With a passion for adventure and a commitment to education, Rob has built a career that encompasses both. Originally from Northern Ireland, Rob has led the globally recognized and award-winning Outdoor & Experiential Education Department at UWC Thailand for the past five years. His extensive experience in the outdoors has had him guide participants through challenging environments on multi-day expeditions. As well as this, Rob has helped to launch the UWC Thailand Outdoor Education Centre, which has seen exponential growth since its inception and now has an incredibly strong kayaking and sailing program.

As a conference speaker and workshop leader, Rob shares his insights on outdoor and experiential education programming as well as developing technical knowledge of others as an ACA (American Canoe Association) Instructor Trainer.

Rob plays a key role on both the Duke of Edinburgh International Award Advisory Panel and the OFFSEAS (Outdoor Forum for South East Asian Schools) committee. His contributions in these roles highlight his dedication to promoting best practice and extending the value of outdoor education experiential learning to the international community.
