Keynote Speaker

Ewan McIntosh

Founder & Managing Director, NoTosh

Ewan McIntosh’s life path involved narrow misses with investment banks and the British Army, before he discovered his love of learning and teaching could be a dream job.

His mission today is to ensure that every learner gets to experience great teaching and learning in rich learning environments. He and his team do that by helping teachers and school leaders to think and work differently, and by bringing them together as a team so they can achieve something remarkable.

Ewan is a Life Fellow of the RSA for his contributions to education and digital media, and a Member of the Royal Company of Merchants Edinburgh.

Ewan is a Former Digital Commissioner and Investor at Channel 4 TV. He has completed gundreds of school strategy projects in over 70 countries.

“A good strategy, mission or vision is a start. But every communication has to lift those words off paper and into people’s imaginations. Frameworks get you so far; but those daily communication habits are where you bring your brand alive.”

What makes your school truly distinctive? It’s not your facilities. Not your results. Not even your alumni. It’s the way you tell your story — and the story your community tells back.

In this one-day workshop, we bring together Heads, Deputy Heads, Communications, Marketing and Admissions teams to tackle a crucial challenge: how to develop a shared language that captures what your school offers families — not just in theory, but in practice.
