Authentic Leadership: Navigating Difficult Conversations with Confidence, Clarity, and Care
This is a 1 Hour Presentation
School leaders regularly face difficult conversations with parents, students, staff, and community members. Many leaders feel underprepared to lead them effectively. This session explores why these conversations are inevitable in leadership and how they can be approached with confidence, clarity, and compassion. Drawing on current research, leadership practice, and real-world school-based scenarios, participants will examine how to prepare for challenging conversations, initiate them with purpose, manage emotions and resistance, and stay grounded in values and expectations. The session will include guided discussion, shared experiences, and a practical framework that leaders can adapt to their own contexts.
