Make It Real: Embedding Community Engagement and Experiential Learning Across K–12
This is a 1 Hour Presentation
Experiential learning is most powerful when it’s structural — built into the timetable, the assessment system, and the culture of a school — not dependent on one enthusiastic teacher or a single memorable trip. This workshop equips teachers and coordinators with the concrete tools to make that happen.Participants will explore how to design a developmentally scaffolded K–12 experiential learning progression, create assessment frameworks that capture genuine student growth, build and sustain authentic community partnerships, and leave with a clear 12-month action plan. Practical, evidence-based, and built for educators who believe learning should be real.
